Our CHAS accreditation demonstrates to our customers that we are compliant with the highest standards of safety and offers that peace of mind that when it comes to the various health and safety laws they are in the right hands.

We are a member of the Logistics UK Association, which entitles us to a range of information, support, products and services that ensures we are connected to the industry, compliant with governing regulations and confident in the efficiency and success of our transport function.

The Access Alliance is a collaboration of some of the UK and Ireland’s strongest independently owned regional powered access sales and rental companies. The members, including us, offer a uniformed level of service and high quality of equipment throughout the UK. To ensure we all achieve this, each member agrees to adhere to the organisations Core Values.

We are a member and accreditated IPAF training centre, and run a variety of courses at our five depots six days a week. We work with IPAF to ensure we are always providing the best training and delegates have access to our modern fleet to provide platforms to use when they train with us.

The respected IPAF Rental+ quality mark shows that we operate to the highest standard and have been independently audited by an ISO 9001 lead auditor, within the last 12 months, to meet the most stringent standards of training, advice, equipment and customer satisfaction.

Silver accreditation confirms that we employ good practice and comply with the requirements laid out by the FORS Standard. By achieving FORS Silver accreditation our fleet is proved to be compliant with the CLOCS Standard for Construction Logistics and with TfL’s WRRR (Work Related Road Risk).

Star Platforms has demonstrated its commitment to quality and continuous improvement by achieving ISO 9001. ISO 9001 is an internationally recognised standard for creating, implementing, and maintaining a quality management system. This achievement highlights Star Platforms’ dedication to excellence and assures customers of the company’s reliability.

Our commitment to ensuring a safe and healthy workplace is reflected in our achievement of the ISO 45001 international health and safety standard. This standard attests that we prioritize minimising workplace injuries and illnesses by implementing effective planning and control, measuring performance, and continuously improving our processes.

At Star Platforms we operate as green as we can and have worked hard to achieve our ISO 14001 status. Having been awarded the standard  in 2017 we ensure we operate in the most environmentally friendly way possible. Our standard ensures we minimise harmful effects on the environment caused by our activities. It also means we conform to applicable regulatory requirements and continue to improve our environmental performance.

With our SafeHire certification we can show our commitment to safety, health, environment and quality, alongside our ongoing training and high-quality standards in customer service.

We are proud members of the Hire Association Europe, the industry leading trade body representing plant, tool and equipment hire with a membership base of over 900 members. By working with the HAE we are able to ensure our policies are up to date and we are providing everything our customers need when hiring products on sites and in the workplace.

CLOCS is a national Standard that requires all stakeholders in construction to take responsibility for health & safety beyond the hoardings. It demands collaborative action to prevent fatal or serious collisions between vehicles servicing construction projects and vulnerable road users: pedestrians, cyclists, and motorcyclists.

Star Platforms delivery drivers have attended a dedicated training program which qualifies them to deliver to the Crossrail project. Our fleet of delivery vehicles have been audited to demonstrate that we meet the Crossrail mandatory standard.
